About Vision Nutrition Review

Last updated: September 2026

Vision Nutrition Review is a small independent publication about eye-health supplements. We write for people over fifty who are trying to work out whether any of the bottles on the pharmacy shelf are worth buying — and who are tired of being sold to in the language of miracles.

How this site is funded

We earn money through affiliate commissions. When we link to a product and a reader buys it, the seller pays us a percentage of that sale. The reader pays exactly the same price either way; the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not out of your pocket.

We disclose this at the top of every page that contains an affiliate link, in the footer, and beside every button. We would rather you know it before you read a word than discover it afterwards.

You should read what we publish with that arrangement in mind. It is a real incentive, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. What we can tell you is how we try to keep it from distorting the writing.

How we decide what to say

  • We separate tested from untested. When an ingredient has been through a large clinical trial, we say so. When it has only small studies, or only laboratory work, we say that too — in the same sentence, not in fine print at the bottom.
  • We do not repeat a seller's claims as our own. Marketing material for supplements frequently promises outcomes the underlying research does not support. Where we describe what a manufacturer says, we attribute it to the manufacturer.
  • We publish the disqualifiers. Every product we write about is wrong for somebody — drug interactions, existing conditions, or simply the wrong expectation. That section is not optional in our articles.
  • We do not invent authority. Our articles are written by our editorial team from published research. We are not physicians, we do not employ any, and we do not present ourselves as a medical practice.

What we are not

We are not a manufacturer, a retailer, or a pharmacy. We do not sell, stock, or ship any product. We do not take orders, process payments, or issue refunds — those are handled entirely by the seller and their payment processor. If you have a question about an order you have already placed, contact the seller directly using the confirmation email they sent you.

We are also not a source of medical advice. Nothing on this site diagnoses a condition or tells you what to take. Decisions about your eyes belong with an eye-care professional who can actually examine them.

Corrections

We review and correct verified errors, and note the date an article was last updated.
