This policy explains what information is collected when you visit visioncaredaily.online, who processes it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to this website only.
1. Information we collect directly
Almost none. This site has no account system, no newsletter sign-up, no shopping cart and no contact form. We do not ask you for your name, address, date of birth, payment details or any health information, and we have no way to receive them through this site.
If you choose to email us, we receive whatever you put in that email — your email address, your name if you sign it, and the contents of your message. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it and any follow-up, and we do not add you to any marketing list.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data when a page is served: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. This is used for security and to keep the site working. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and that logging is performed by GitHub.
3. Cookies and advertising technology
We use Google services to measure how our advertising performs. These may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:
- Google Ads conversion tracking — records that a visit came from one of our ads and whether it led to a click through to an advertiser. This lets us see which ads are worth paying for.
- Google Analytics, where enabled — aggregate statistics about how many people read a page and how far down they scroll.
These tools tell us about patterns across visitors. They do not tell us your name and we do not attempt to identify individual readers. Google acts as an independent processor of this data under its own terms; see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works normally without them.
4. Affiliate links
Pages on this site contain affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our website and arrive at the seller's site, and the seller records that the visit came from us so that any resulting commission is attributed correctly. That tracking is performed by the seller and their affiliate network, not by us.
Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies. Anything you do on the seller's site — including entering payment or delivery details — is governed by that company's own privacy policy and terms. We never see, receive or store your payment information, your address, or the contents of your order.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not collect health information, and we do not build profiles about medical conditions.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. This site is intended for adults.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to its processing. Residents of California, and residents of the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, have specific statutory rights of this kind.
In practice, this site collects almost no personal data to begin with, as described in section 1. If you used an affiliate link to make a purchase, requests about that purchase or your personal data should go to the seller and payment processor that handled it, as described in section 4 above.
7. Data retention and security
Server logs are retained by our hosting provider under their own schedule. Email correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed. The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
